About Jeffrey M. DeSisto

Jeff DeSisto joined DeSisto Law as a paralegal in 2013 and worked for the firm in that capacity during his law school years until eventually becoming an attorney in 2022.

Prior to law school, Jeff worked as a paralegal at DeSisto Law and Gage Spencer & Fleming, in New York City, where he assisted in a variety of cases. Additionally, Jeff worked in the compliance department at Edgewood Management LLC, a prominent New York investment firm.

Jeff achieved his Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts and English at Providence College where he graduated cum laude. After his undergraduate studies, Jeff went on to earn his Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of Connecticut, where he performed in a multitude of professional productions.

While at Roger Williams University School of Law, Jeff participated in the judicial externship program, where he worked for the Honorable O. Rogeriee Thompson in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Jeff has tried multiple cases to a successful verdict and has effectively advocated for his clients through written memoranda and oral argument. Jeff is also involved in the pre-trial process, including conducting investigations, preparing discovery, and taking depositions. Jeff’s practice includes work defending the Rhode Island Division of Taxation, navigating complex constitutional issues, and litigating multi-million-dollar business disputes.
